Bangs

I know bangs are a very controversial issue. Never mind what is going on in Iran with elections, or the Supreme Courts latest ruling in a racial case, or Sara Palins resignation lets talk about real issues that get to people's core. Bangs. You either love them or hate them. They either conjure up images of you in grade school in the 80's or you think of hot famous people with the perfect bangs gently swept over their face and delicately over their eye. Well, I am in the latter camp. I love bangs. So I finally cut them on Auir a month ago. I have to admit that it was mostly out of laziness, she hates having a bow or headband in her hair and I don't like finding one, matching it to her outfit and trying to keep it in her hair all day. So here is Auir's first haircut.
before, not the best photo I know, but I was in a hurry

After. I love them and her hair cut. I wish I could pull off this look, a little bob that goes perfectly behind my ear.

4th of July Fun

The Ward 4th of July Breakfast

Typical fo my kids, Warren is bored, Auri is into everyone's food and

Max is mad about something.

I think Auri looks cute in her red white and blue

We just couldn't wait until Max's birthday, which is in August.

Baseball in the street and a piniata in the yard.

Anderson Family Photo

For the 4th of July my siblings from L.A, Salt Lake, and Arizona came up, so my Mom wanted to get a family photo taken. Sarah Mullins took them, she did a great job. I think she got all 22 people looking at the camera. Thanks Sarah.

Holly, Hillary and Kiran Lelands and Denise's family are on the top left, mine is on the bottom left. Holly and Brian's family is on the top right and Kiran and Danny's family is on the bottom right. My parents are in the middle and Will is in between them.

Top 5 things I like about my Country

1. Capitalism

"Wealth is a product of man's capacity to think" -Ayn Rand

2. Libraries - it never ceases to amaze me that they just let you borrow books and return them at your leisure. This is nothing short of trust and kindness to America's citizens.

3. I think it was Dr. Laura that said "A nation can be measured by how well it takes care of its weakest members, namely the elderly and special needs children" America gets this.

4. My Religion that I hold nearest and dearest to me. It was founded/restored in New York.

5. It is, simply put, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The mountains, oceans, forests, lakes, suburbs, New York City at night, Temple Square at Christmas, Fishers Landing in the fall, Hawaii year round. I love it all and I am so grateful to live here

6. I know I said 5, but deal with it.

-The song "My Country Tis of Thee"
gets me every time!

Happy 4th of July!!

Top 5 things I like about my Dad

Top 5 things I like about my Dad
1. He likes hanging out with his kids, it's not always about the grand kids.
2. He speaks Hebrew.
3. He reads a ton.
4. He and my Mom raised 4 really cool people, otherwise known as my siblings.
5. He doesn't make a move without my Mom, seriously, they are inseparable and I think they wouldn't have it any other way.

Odd photo

I know this is an odd photo to post, but I actually really like this photo. I have always been self-conscience of my fat, I mean round, face and sometimes double chin. I actually have 3 chins in photos of me and my newborns. But this photo, while odd and I am not sure what I was doing there with my arm (Warren took the photo), I think shows that I actually have a jaw line. I look a lot more like my sisters, which is a really good thing. I just wish it were in focus.
P.S. Sorry for my narcissism

More wedding photos

This is what I did with my flowers

These are my sisters in law. This is the day before the wedding, all of us getting a pedicure.
