I loved how my kids would say, "Mom, are we going to the lodge this weekend?", like we are the kind of folks that "go to a lodge on weekends" and the kind of folks that don't use the word folks.
I loved how they offered you an umbrella when you left, I loved how there were 3 pools, I loved the gingerbread houses, I loved the Christmas decorations, I loved the food, I loved it all and I loved that it only took about 35 minutes to get there.

The outdoor pool early in the morning, I think I got the moon in the background, that's how early we get up people! That is why I make my kids go to bed at 7:30 sharp, because we get up when the moon is still out!

I HUGELY regret that we never did that while we lived in WA. It looks SO AWESOME!!! I love all your pictures! What an amazing time!

That does look like fun! Hopefully we can all go next year - but we'll be swimming at midnight if they let us and sleeping in the morning hours!
