I'm glad I'm not pregnant. When my house is a mess, and I mean trashed, when one or more of the kids are sick and I know I am never going to get the smell of vomit out of the car seat entirely, when I have a kid talking back to me, when my back hurts, when it is 1 am and I'm up with a kid and I know I have to get up in 5 hours, I think to myself.... at least I'm not pregnant.

AMEN! AMEN!! AMEN! I am exactly the same way. For me, the discomfort starts before the morning sickness goes away because I have sciatica (when I'm pregnant) and the nerve pain is indescribably awful. And no matter what's going on now, no matter how hard ANYTHING is, I always think: "At least I'm not pregnant!" I hear ya!!! I always hate people who love being pregnant. I kind of want to kick them.
Me TOO!!! I think I must have had some sort of mental imbalance, when I think about 3 prgnancies in 5 years.
Oh so your telling me the best is yet to come? ;) I can not wait for this baby June will not come fast enough!
That's funny. One day when Tad was in residency I called him to complain about the bad day I was having at work. He said, "If it makes you feel any better, on Friday I have to do a pap on a 500 lb woman". I'm not going to lie, it made me feel a lot better. I now use it as my barometer for measuring bad days. Even now when I'm having disgusting mom days I think to myself, "Would I rather do this, or a pap on a 500 lb woman?" Most of the time motherhood still reigns supreme--and that's saying something.
True dat! I started a blog and already put an ugly pic up I dont know how to take down! Ha! ponoandkassie.blogspot.com
Ditto for me. I knew I was done when my doctor said, "Betty, there are some women who glow when they are pregnant. You're not one of them." I think he was tired of me asking him to induce me.
I'm down here in Ecuador thinking of my friends back in the 'Couv-I'm so glad I checked in! Thanks for making me smile about the woes of pregnancy. I'm happy to be done with those years as well...though we are very, very blessed to have been pregnant in the states. I saw some pretty scary stuff today.
Well, Becky, in Tad's case the choice between a smoker or Jazzy-fatty is a no-brainer. Wow.
